It's In Your Hands
“And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.” (Genesis 39:4 KJV)
Pastor, you like Joseph have found grace in God’s sight. This grace is something you once sought after and found. It was your desire to know God and to know not just about him but to understand him better, in other words to have a deep relationship with the Almighty.
It was because of this desire to seek God, to love him and to serve him that he has made you an overseer, a pastor, over his house, his temple, his church. So keep in mind like Joseph that the house is the master’s not ours. We are only privileged to serve where we serve because he placed his trust in us.
But not only has he placed trust in us he has placed all his resources at our disposal to accomplish the tasks we are asked by him to complete. That means we have access to Holy Spirit power, divine healing, fire, zeal, compassion, comfort, knowledge, wisdom and great faith. All we have to do is ask for what we need and he will supply all that we need (or even more) to reach others.
So if you have been feeling discouraged or deflated, please recall those days you sought and seek once more since his grace is free flowing and easy to find. Call out your need before him and rest assured it’s on its way! He has placed it in your hand now go out and use it; share it and do it all in Jesus name!
God Bless - Rick
